Arch Room

The Arch Room has operated at the same address on North Virginia since 1971. The interior has not changed significantly since the mid-eighties: vinyl barstools, a jukebox heavy on classic rock and Motown, a pool table in the back room that has been restored twice and abused continuously. Pours are generous and priced to match the room. The regulars are not performing anything for anyone.

Cash is preferred, though a card reader runs behind the bar. No food service of any substance. The pool table is free during the week and costs a dollar a game on weekends. The jukebox takes singles and will get to your selection within three songs if the queue is reasonable.

Open seven days, noon to close. The best time to be here is a Tuesday night when nobody is trying to make it a thing.
